69th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner
On Saturday, October 14, 2023, the Greater Harrisburg Area NAACP will convene its 69th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner at the AFSCME Conference Center, 150 S. 43rd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. The reception begins at 5 p.m., and the dinner & program will start at 6 p.m. This year’s keynote speaker is Danielle L. Bowers. We are extremely excited to have the Act-So winners participate in the program again this year.
The Freedom Fund Dinner is our only major event for the year; therefore, we are encouraging our past, present and new supporters to be a sponsor for this momentous occasion. Organizations, businesses and individuals can support our annual Freedom Fund Dinner and the mission of the NAACP in several ways. Please refer to the attached sponsorship or website at hbgnaacp.com for additional information about tickets and levels of sponsorships. Please note that tickets purchased online, fees will apply.
As you may know, the NAACP is our nation’s oldest Civil Rights organization whose purpose is to improve all groups’ the political, educational, social, and economic status and eliminate racial prejudice. Our future as an organization and how we can carry out our advocacy mission for the Greater Harrisburg area’s citizens are crucial to the fight for Social Justice and Civil Rights. The theme for this year is “Power in Community”, partnering with the NAACP in joining together to help in environmental justice, in prison reform, in voting rights, and in strengthening our communities.
We look forward to your sponsorship and attendance at our 69th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact our 2023 Freedom Fund Dinner Committee at (717) 710-3109 or email at hbgnaacp97@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for supporting the oldest Civil Rights organization in the nation.
