The Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) is a year-long enrichment program designed to recruit, stimulate, improve and encourage high academic and cultural achievement among African-American high school students.

For more than 25 years, the Harrisburg NAACP Chapter has supported our students attending the national ACTSO Competition with no cost to the student. This year will be no exception. We will continue to fundraise to support our deserving Gold Medalist to attend the 2026 National ACTSO Competition, and to support the local ACTSO program in 2027.
