On Saturday, October 22, 2022, the Greater Harrisburg Area NAACP will convene its 68th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner at the Linglestown American Legion, Post 272, 505 North Mountain Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112. The reception begins at 5 pm, and the dinner and program will start at 6 pm. This year’s keynote speaker is Brian A. Hudson, Sr., Retired CEO/Executive Director of PA Housing Finance Agency. We are incredibly excited to have the ACT-SO winners participate in the program again this year.
The Freedom Fund Dinner is our only significant event for the year; therefore, we are encouraging our past, present and new supporters to be a sponsor for this momentous occasion. Organizations, businesses and individuals can support our annual Freedom Fund Dinner and the mission of the NAACP in several ways.
Please refer to the Upcoming Events page of this website for additional information.
As you may know, the NAACP is our nation’s oldest Civil Rights organization whose purpose is to improve all groups’ the political, educational, social, and economic status and eliminate racial prejudice. This year’s theme is “Power of Building Generational Wealth,” and we shall never lose hope. Our focus will be on Voting Rights, the power of inclusion, Education and Voter Participation. Our future as an organization and how we can carry out our advocacy mission for the Greater Harrisburg area’s citizens are crucial to the fight for Social Justice and Civil Rights.
We look forward to your sponsorship and attendance at our 68th Annual Freedom Fund Dinner.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact our 2022 Freedom Fund Dinner Committee at (717) 710-3109 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you in advance for supporting the oldest Civil Rights organization in the nation.
